Board StudioProduct demonstration

Make a board game with AI.

Board Studio turns your idea into a game you can edit and play in your browser. Watch us create an original Catan-inspired game.

01:00   /   Full journey

Actual product recording with synthesized narration. Generation waits and iteration shortened; portions accelerated. The final detailed scene is an Astra-authored refinement imported into the same playable game.

01

Prompt

Describe the game. Explore visual directions and choose an island to build.

02

Refine

Ask for a change, then inspect the updated board and components.

03

Play

Gather resources, trade, and build settlements in a guided browser match.

Judge the experience

Does the idea become a game you want to play? Are the edits clear, the next move understandable, and the board easy to read?

The browser game is the primary experience. Paper components and a 3D component export are optional ways to take it to the table.

Take it to the table

Explore the printable kit or inspect a building model in your slicer.

Recording and verification notes

This Catan-like demo is an original, simplified island settlement game inspired by familiar resource-building games. The in-game computer opponent uses a local heuristic. Independent Astra agents also tested Gutter Duel, another Board Studio game.

This page contains a recording and downloads. Live AI design runs locally through Codex with ChatGPT sign-in. The one-minute cut condenses generation, iteration, and waiting. Software checks and agent playtests do not establish long-term balance or human enjoyment. The STL export is a component model; physical assembly, wall thickness, supports, and printer suitability still require slicer and real-world checks.
